Handmade Soaps
flower with a colored brad and finished with a handmade label.
Flower and dragonfly imprints were done by laying a flat
decorative rubber stamp to the inside bottom of the mold
facing up and pouring the soap mixture on top.
Who doesn't like a soap that smells absolutely divine? I just love smelling aromatic scented soaps. I especially love making my own because I can make them any scent, color and add my own little special touch to the packaging once they are ready to go to a new home. I like being able to melt, color, scent and pour my soaps. These two soaps were done as a gift for a friend. I made the pearberry lightly colored with green and the lavender is done as a two tone.

Sushirific!!!
This past weekend I made some birthday cupcakes for a friend. I made two types one of which are these fabulous sushi cupcakes and the others were some wonderful chocolate ganache dipped cupcakes. This post is all about the sushi cupcakes that were done. My husband and I actually thought of this idea while waiting for "Inception" (great movie by the way!) to start. So naturally my wheels started turning. So as soon as I got home I gathered all my ingredients and I went to work. Remember...when creating little masterpieces such as this one it does take time...so patience is definitely a virtue. I was truly happy with the outcome and so was my friend. I admit...I love seeing the reactions on the face of the person that this edible art piece has been designed for. I hope you enjoy as well. Until next time...

Smells sew good!
I absolutely the loved the patterns on these silk fabrics. So I decided to make rose scented sachet bags out of them. As a finishing touch I tied a pink sheer ribbon and attached a silver handmade polymer disc that I imprinted with a stamp.
Pink Lemonade Earrings
Just to give you a quick idea of the things I'm working on, here's a picture of a pair of earrings I recently crafted.
About Ittybit Delights
Who would've thought that five years ago when I took my first cake decorating course it would've blossomed in to more than just cake decorating. Messing around with frosting seemed to trigger a creativity that had been hiding in my little being. I now find myself tinkering with all kinds of different projects such as handmade jewelry, clothing, handbags, soaps, candles and paper arts. And God only knows what's next in the pipeline of things to come.
I'm excited to share all these fun things with you.
Hello World!
Welcome to the new Ittybit Delights blog! Thank you for visiting. I envision this site to be your connection to all the fabulous ideas, projects and creations that are brewing in my itty bitty head. So many ideas...so little time.
I've got a few projects in the works as we speak, so check back soon and I should have some pics of the finished products.
